Decorating with an image seen from above: ideas room by room
Living room, bedroom, office, hallway: which image, which size
An image seen from above brings colour, depth and a story. Here are our ideas, room by room. On the page of each image, the "On the wall" view shows the poster to scale on a wall.
The living room
Above a sofa or a fireplace, go for the large size: 90 × 60 cm (XL). A satellite image in vivid colours, a delta, a desert, a coast, becomes the focal point of the room. The Plexiglas panel gives depth to the colours.
The bedroom
For a calm atmosphere, choose soft tones: the Relief rendering in the Plaster, Graphite or Sage style, or the Historic map and its cream tones.
The office
A map that inspires: the massif you climbed, the town of your company. Size L (75 × 50 cm) easily finds its place above a desk.
The hallway and the corridor
Size M (60 × 40 cm) suits narrow walls. A series of three images in a row looks great: three places dear to you, or the same place in three styles.
Composing a series
The same place in Satellite and in Relief, or in three Relief styles: together they form a coherent series. Keep the same size and the same frame for unity. Our guide Choosing your poster details the sizes, materials and frames.
